Is silver considered fine jewelry?
Yes 💍 Silver — especially 925 sterling silver — is considered fine jewelry because it is a precious metal, just like gold and platinum.
Sterling silver contains 92.5% pure silver, blended with 7.5% other alloys for strength and durability. It is highly valued for its beauty, lasting quality, and timeless appeal.

Are your gemstones natural?
Yes! Our jewelry features natural gemstones as well as American Diamonds.
Our natural gemstones are formed by nature, which means each one is inherently unique. Subtle variations in size, shape, and especially colour are completely normal — and they’re what give every stone its own character and beauty. No two pieces will ever be exactly the same, so the one you receive is truly one of a kind.
What are American Diamonds?
American Diamonds, also known as cubic zirconia, are lab-created gemstones designed to resemble natural diamonds. They are made from zirconium dioxide and are optically flawless, closely imitating the brilliance and clarity of real diamonds — making them a beautiful, durable, and affordable alternative.
Do you offer warranty?

- 2-Year Warranty: Re-Plating Services and Repairs: All Our jewelry also includes a 2-year warranty that covers free plating services and repairs.
Does Silver Tarnish?
Yes — all real silver naturally tarnishes over time. This happens when silver reacts with oxygen, moisture, or chemicals in the air. The good news is that tarnish is only a surface effect and does not damage the metal itself.
With regular care and proper storage, your jewelry will stay beautiful for years. Each order from Cherie Lueur also comes with a lifetime warranty for the silver metal, which includes free polishing services anytime you need to restore its shine.
Is your jewelry waterproof?
No jewelry is truly waterproof — even fine jewelry made from gold, platinum, or silver can lose its shine with constant exposure to water and chemicals.
At Cherie Lueur, our pieces are crafted with authentic 925 sterling silver, a precious metal and fine jewelry standard. Some designs are left in their natural silver finish, while others feature optional plating (such as gold or rose gold) for added elegance.
To keep your jewelry looking beautiful, we recommend avoiding water, sweat, perfumes, and creams, as these can cause plating to fade faster or silver to tarnish. For the longest life, it’s best to remove your jewelry before showering, swimming, or exercising.
Does the plating last forever?
Sadly No! Plating does not last forever on plated jewelry. Over time, it can naturally fade due to contact with water, sweat, perfumes, creams, or even individual skin chemistry.
However, with proper care, it can last much longer. This also depends on each person’s unique skin chemistry and how the piece is taken care of.
At Cherie Lueur, we want you to enjoy your jewelry for years to come, which is why every piece comes with a 2-Year Warranty that covers free replating services during the warranty period. Can I order a custom design?
Yes 💛 We do offer custom designs for those looking to create a unique piece. Whether it’s for a special occasion, a meaningful gift, or simply your own dream jewelry, our team will work closely with you to bring your vision to life.
At Chérie Lueur, every piece is individually handcrafted by our artisans. When creating jewelry based on a reference image, we do not have the original piece in hand, only the image to work from. Because of this, there may be tiny natural differences in the outcome.
We ensure your piece is as close as possible while still being handcrafted. Small nuances such as gemstone placement, size variations, or other slight adjustments can happen. These slight differences are not flaws but part of the unique character of handmade jewelry, making your piece one of a kind.
When will my order ship?

Ready-to-Ship Collection: Delivered within 3–5 business days. (Only items listed in our Ready-to-Ship Collection are eligible.)
Our Ready-to-Ship rings are sent in the size that is available in stock at the time of purchase. Since these pieces are already crafted, sizes cannot be chosen in advance. If the fit isn’t perfect, you’re welcome to send it back for resizing after you receive it. Do you offer gift wrapping?

Do you offer same-day or express delivery?
Yes — we offer PickMe Flash delivery for our Ready-to-Ship Collection, so you can receive your item on the same day (within serviceable areas).
For Made-to-Order Jewelry, production takes 8–10 working days. Once your piece is ready, we can also arrange PickMe Flash delivery or standard courier (3–5 working days).
⚠️ Please note: PickMe Flash delivery charges are not included in your order and must be paid in cash directly to the rider at the end of the trip. This is non-negotiable and ensures your package is handed over to you safely.

I am having problems placing my order and it won’t go through. What should I do?

How do I change something on my order?
Unfortunately, we are unable to make changes to an order once it has been placed, as it immediately begins processing.

I just placed my order and I want to add something to it. How do I do that?
Unfortunately, we are unable to make changes to an existing order once it has been placed.
However, if you place a new order within 24 hours, we’ll do our best to ship both orders together so they arrive at the same time. Don’t worry — delivery is always free of charge.

How do I check the status of my order?

We do not sell our branded boxes separately. Our gift boxes come complimentary with every jewelry purchase

Was I charged twice for my order?
Was I charged twice for my order?
It’s uncommon to be charged twice. Most “double charges” are actually a duplicate authorization (a temporary hold) from your bank. Only one payment is captured by us. The extra authorization usually drops off automatically within a few business days (timing depends on your bank).
If you believe you were actually charged twice, please contact your bank and then us with your order details and we’ll check right away.

When does my card get charged?
Your card is charged immediately at checkout once your order is successfully placed. You’ll also receive an order confirmation email right after payment.

Why did you cancel my order?

Yes! We ship both within Sri Lanka and internationally.
- Sri Lanka: Free delivery on all orders.

We do not offer refunds, but we do accept exchanges under the conditions outlined in our Exchange Policy.

How long will it take to process my exchange?
Once we receive your item, please allow 5–6 working days for us to process the exchange. In some cases, we may need a few additional days depending on the issue and the type of item.
After processing, delivery will take an additional 3–4 working days.
